This notice explains how the personal portfolio at bousselmi.eu processes information when you browse the site or start a conversation.

2. Information processed
- Technical request and security information required to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent and response status.
- Name, work email and message when you submit the conversation form.
- A selected language, light or dark display preference, consent choice and cached country code stored in your browser.
- Usage measurements through Google Analytics 4 only after you explicitly consent.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Website delivery, security and abuse prevention rely on legitimate interests under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Responding to an inquiry relies on steps requested before a possible contract under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR or legitimate interests where appropriate. Optional analytics relies on consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG.
4. Service providers
Hetzner infrastructure supports website hosting. AWS SES delivers conversation-form email. Country.is returns a country code for the initial language suggestion. Google Analytics is loaded only after consent. These providers receive only the information required for their function.
5. Language selection
On a first visit, the browser requests a country code from Country.is. Country.is necessarily receives the requesting IP address. This website stores only the returned ISO country code for up to 30 days. A manual language selection always overrides the automatic suggestion.
6. Contact inquiries and retention
Conversation-form data is used only to review and respond to the inquiry. It is retained only as long as required for the conversation, security, possible contractual steps and applicable legal record-keeping. Do not send passwords, credentials or unnecessary sensitive information.
7. Your rights
You may have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time for future processing. Contact info@bousselmi.eu. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority.
